InLine Crossover-patchkabel PC til PC SF/UTP Cat.5e grå 3 m

The InLine Crossover Patch Cable Cat.5e 3m is a 3-meter twisted-pair network cable with SF/UTP shielding, designed for direct connection between two computers or for linking hubs and switches. The cable uses Cat5e specifications and is fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends; its grey colour provides a neutral appearance suitable for office or home installations.

Advantages

Built to Cat5e standard with SF/UTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference, the cable supports stable data transmission over short distances. RJ-45 connectors on both ends provide compatibility with standard Ethernet ports, while the crossover wiring makes it suitable for direct device-to-device connections without intermediate network equipment. The 3 m length balances reach and cable management in typical desk or rack setups.

Suitable for

• Direct PC-to-PC connections
• Connecting hubs or switches where crossover cabling is required
• Short-run connections in offices, home networks, or server closets

Key specifications

• Cable type: Twisted pair SF/UTP (shielded foil over unshielded twisted pairs)
• Category: Cat.5e
• Length: 3 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of the first device and the other connector into the Ethernet port of the second device. Ensure both devices are powered on and configured to the appropriate network settings. The crossover wiring allows direct communication between two endpoints without using a switch or hub; on modern devices with auto-MDI/MDIX this cable can also be used like a straight-through patch cable.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, avoid tight bends and excessive tension along the cable, and keep it away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference. Use the 3 m length for short connections where cable routing is straightforward; replace the cable if connectors are damaged or if performance issues arise.
