Koaksialstik F-type ShiverPeaks BS85008-10

The ShiverPeaks BS85008-10 is a pack of 10 F-type coaxial connectors designed for reliable signal connections in audio and video installations. Each connector has a sturdy metal body and a threaded F-type coupling that provides consistent electrical contact for cable TV, satellite and home theater systems. The set is intended for terminating coaxial cables to create secure, low-loss connections between equipment and wall outlets.

Advantages

These F-type connectors offer a combination of mechanical strength and good electrical performance. The threaded design ensures a tight, vibration-resistant connection while the metal construction supports durability in repeated installations. The connectors are compatible with standard coaxial cable types and are intended to minimize signal attenuation when properly fitted.

Suitable for

• Cable TV installations and set-top box connections
• Satellite dish cabling and LNB connections
• Home theater and AV system wiring
• Repairing or upgrading coaxial cable terminations

Key specifications

• Connector type: F-type male threaded coaxial connector
• Material: metal body for mechanical durability
• Pack quantity: 10 connectors
• Application: for use with common coaxial cables in audio/video and RF systems
• Connection: screw-on threaded coupling for secure fit

How to use

Strip the coaxial cable to the recommended dimensions for the connector model, ensuring the central conductor and dielectric are exposed correctly. Slide the prepared cable into the connector until the dielectric seats and the central conductor protrudes through the pin contact. Tighten the connector onto the mating socket by turning the threaded coupling until secure; avoid overtightening which can deform the cable or connector. Verify the connection visually and test signal quality with the intended equipment.

Recommendations

Use these connectors with properly prepared coaxial cables and appropriate tools such as cable strippers and torque-limited wrenches if available. For best signal performance, maintain clean contacts and avoid bending the cable sharply near the connector. Replace any connector that shows corrosion, loose fit, or visible damage to maintain reliable signal transmission.
