Multiværktøj Topeak X-Tool+

The Topeak X-Tool+ is a compact, 11-function folding multi-tool created for cyclists who need reliable on-the-go repairs. Constructed from chromium-vanadium steel with polymer components and finished in matte black, this multi-tool combines durability with a slim profile measuring 95 mm × 29 mm × 19 mm and weighing approximately 0.112 kg. The updated design secures an 8 mm hex bit and includes a self-tightening T20 / 2.5 mm L-type wrench, making it suitable for common bike maintenance tasks and quick adjustments while riding.

Advantages

The tool offers a balanced combination of strength and portability thanks to its chromium-vanadium steel construction and polymer accents. Its folding format keeps all 11 functions neatly stored, reducing the risk of losing bits during transportation. The monochromatic black finish resists visible wear, and the updated bit retention for the 8 mm hex plus the integrated self-tightening T20 / 2.5 mm L-wrench improve usability for frequent tasks such as brake and derailleur adjustments, stem and seatpost tightening, and wheel axle work.

Suitable for

• Road and gravel cyclists needing compact repair tools
• Mountain bikers carrying minimal kit for trail repairs
• Commuters who require quick adjustments before or during rides
• Home mechanics performing light maintenance on bikes

Key specifications

• Number of functions: 11 folding tools
• Materials: chromium-vanadium steel and polymer components
• Finish: monochromatic black
• Dimensions: 95 mm (width) × 29 mm (depth) × 19 mm (height)
• Weight: approximately 0.112 kg
• Included tools: secured 8 mm hex bit; self-tightening T20 / 2.5 mm L-type wrench

How to use

Open the required tool from the folding body and lock it in place before applying force. Use the 8 mm hex bit and L-type wrench for bolts and fittings that match those sizes; engage the self-tightening feature on the T20 / 2.5 mm L-wrench to reduce slippage during turning. After use, fold each tool back into the body to keep edges covered and prevent damage to bags or pockets. Periodically inspect pivot points and tool surfaces for dirt or corrosion and wipe clean after wet or muddy rides.

Recommendations

Carry the multi-tool in a saddle bag, jersey pocket, or frame pouch for easy access. Use appropriate torque and avoid excessive force on fasteners to prevent stripping. For long-term reliability, store the tool dry and apply a light lubricant to hinge points if movement becomes stiff.
