Netværkskabel Dexlan 858649 sort 1 m Cat7 S/FTP

The Dexlan 858649 Black 1m Cat7 S/FTP networking cable provides a short, high-performance wired connection for data networks. Featuring Cat7 specification and S/FTP shielding, the cable is designed to maintain signal integrity and reduce electromagnetic interference for reliable high-speed data transfer. Both ends are fitted with standard RJ-45 connectors to work with a wide range of network devices. The 1 meter length and black jacket make it practical for neat, close-proximity connections in home, office, or equipment rack environments.

Advantages

S/FTP construction combines foil shielding around each twisted pair with an overall braided shield to minimize crosstalk and external interference, supporting stable throughput in congested electromagnetic environments. The Cat7 category supports higher bandwidths and stricter performance parameters than Cat5e/Cat6, making it appropriate for demanding applications. The molded RJ-45 connectors ensure a consistent physical interface and simple plug-and-play installation. The compact 1 m length reduces excess cable clutter and preserves signal quality over short runs.

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into the corresponding port on a switch, router, modem or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and the retaining clip engages to prevent accidental disconnection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and strong mechanical stress; maintain gentle bend radii near connectors. For best performance, keep the cable clear of large power cables and sources of electromagnetic noise where possible.

Recommendations

Use this Cat7 S/FTP cable for short, high-performance connections where reduced interference and higher bandwidth capacity are required. For permanent installations in structured cabling, verify compatibility with your existing patch panels and equipment; for very long runs, consider appropriate cable type and installation practices to preserve signal integrity.
