Patchpanel Extralink 12-port UTP 10 inch metalhus, sort

The Extralink 12-port UTP patch panel in a 10" metal housing is a compact cabling component designed to terminate and organize horizontal UTP network cabling in racks and cabinets. The black metal housing accommodates twelve RJ45 modular ports for Ethernet connections, providing a structured, space-saving solution for small server rooms, telecom closets and network distribution points. The panel is compatible with standard 10" mounting frames and is intended for use with unshielded twisted pair (UTP) copper cabling.

Advantages

The metal construction offers mechanical durability and stable mounting in 10" racks while the black finish supports a professional appearance and easy visual integration into existing cabinet equipment. Twelve labeled modular ports simplify patching and reconfiguration tasks, reducing cable clutter and improving access for network administrators. The product’s compact 10" form factor allows efficient use of limited rack space in installations that require moderate port density.

Suitable for

• Small server rooms and network cabinets with 10" rack requirements
• Structured cabling installations for Ethernet (UTP) connections
• Telecommunications closets and point-of-distribution panels
• Environments where compact, durable patching is needed

Key specifications

• Port count: 12 modular RJ45 ports
• Cable type: Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) compatible
• Form factor: 10" rack-mount compatible metal housing
• Colour: Black
• Material: Metal housing for mechanical protection

How to use

Mount the patch panel into a 10" rack or cabinet using appropriate screws and mounting hardware. Terminate the incoming UTP cables onto the rear termination points following standard T568A or T568B wiring schemes, testing each pair for continuity and correct pairing. Connect patch cords to the front RJ45 ports to link switches, routers or other network devices. Label ports as required for easy identification during maintenance and reconfiguration.

Recommendations

For reliable network performance, use matched-quality UTP cables and compatible patch cords, maintain correct pair untwisting limits at terminations, and perform certification or continuity testing after installation. Ensure rack airflow and cable routing allow access to the patch panel front and rear for future changes.
