Spiralbor KWB 048650 1 stk. højreløb

The KWB 048650 twist drill bit is a multi-material, single-piece drill designed for right-hand rotation. It features tungsten carbide tips with extra-hard Tungsten-Titanium-Carbide (WTC) and diamond-ground cutting edges, brazed at high temperature and finished with ground surfaces in a copper colour. The drill bit is made for use in both rotary and impact drills and is engineered to remove chips efficiently thanks to an asymmetrical spiral design.

Advantages

The tungsten carbide-tipped cutting edges and diamond grinding provide high hardness and long-lasting sharpness. High-temperature brazing ensures durable tip attachment. The asymmetrical spiral improves chip evacuation, reducing clogging during drilling. Ground surfaces and precise tip geometry support accurate starts and consistent drilling performance across a wide range of materials.

How to use

Install the KWB 048650 twist drill bit into a compatible drill chuck and tighten securely. Select a drill speed and mode appropriate for the material: use rotary or rotary-percussion mode for masonry and concrete, and rotary mode for metals, wood and plastics. Apply steady pressure without forcing the bit; allow the tip to cut and chips to evacuate via the spiral flutes. For glass, ceramic or crystal, use low speed and light pressure, and consider cooling or lubricant where applicable.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (eye protection, gloves) and clamp or secure workpieces. For sustained drilling in hard materials, periodically withdraw the bit to clear chips and reduce heat build-up. Match drill speed and feed to the material: lower speeds for hard or brittle materials, higher speeds for softer materials. Follow the drill and workpiece manufacturers' guidelines.
