Strygebræt VILEDA Total Reflect Plus — model 159255

The VILEDA Total Reflect Plus — model 159255 is a household ironing board designed for both steam and dry ironing. It features a reflective cover system intended to return heat to the fabric and improve ironing efficiency. The board provides a stable, flat surface and includes an integrated rest for the iron, making it suitable for pressing garments, sheets and a variety of home textiles.

Advantages

The reflective cover system increases heat retention and can reduce ironing time by reflecting steam and heat back into the fabric. A robust frame and non-slip feet contribute to stability during use. The integrated iron rest offers a secure place to set a hot iron between passes. The board’s surface and padding are designed to provide an even glide and consistent contact with garments, supporting both steam and dry ironing methods.

Suitable for

• Daily household ironing of shirts, trousers and blouses
• Ironing large items such as bed sheets and table linens
• Steam ironing with a steam iron or dry ironing
• Home sewing and hobby projects requiring a flat pressing surface

Key specifications

• Reflective cover system to enhance heat efficiency
• Integrated rest for placing a hot iron securely
• Stable metal frame with non-slip feet for safety
• Flat ironing surface suitable for garments and larger linens
• Designed for both steam and dry ironing

How to use

Set the ironing board on a level surface and adjust the height to a comfortable working position. Place the garment flat on the board and use the integrated iron rest when pausing or repositioning items. For steam ironing, ensure your iron’s water reservoir is filled and set the appropriate steam setting for the fabric type. For dry ironing, select the correct temperature for the material and move the iron evenly across the fabric. After use, allow the iron to cool on the rest or a heat-resistant surface before folding and storing the board.

Recommendations

Use appropriate temperature and steam settings for different fabrics to avoid damage; delicate fabrics require lower heat and minimal steam. Keep the reflective cover clean and free of residues to maintain heat efficiency. Ensure the board is fully locked and feet are secure before ironing to prevent movement.
