TP-Link Tapo RV30 Max hvid

The TP-Link Tapo RV30 Max is a smart robot vacuum that combines LiDAR and IMU navigation to map rooms accurately and clean efficiently. With an integrated mop function and multi-surface cleaning capability, the unit is designed to maintain floors with minimal user intervention. It connects via 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi and supports Bluetooth for setup and local control. The device comes in a white finish intended to blend with modern interiors and offers scheduled cleaning, area mapping and obstacle-aware routing.

Advantages

Precise LiDAR and IMU sensors enable reliable mapping and repeatable navigation, reducing missed spots and improving route efficiency. The combined vacuum and mop functionality allows dry and damp cleaning in a single device, while compatibility with 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth simplifies setup and remote control. The compact profile and low noise operation help the robot clean under furniture and during daytime without significant disruption.

Suitable for

• Regular maintenance of hardwood, tile and low- to medium-pile carpets
• Homes where automated scheduled cleaning is preferred
• Owners who need mapping-based zone cleaning and no-go areas
• Small to medium apartments and multi-room houses with mixed floor types

Key specifications

• Navigation: LiDAR combined with IMU (inertial measurement unit) for room mapping and path planning
• Cleaning modes: vacuuming and mop/damp cleaning with selectable modes
• Connectivity: 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi for app control and cloud features, Bluetooth support for initial setup
• Design: low-profile, white finish to fit under furniture and match modern interiors
• Controls: mobile app scheduling, remote start/stop, zone and spot cleaning via app

How to use

Place the charging dock on a flat surface with clear space around it and fully charge the robot before first use. Use the companion app to connect the device to your 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi network and complete initial mapping runs; the robot will scan rooms with LiDAR and create a map that can be edited for zones and no-go areas. Select the desired cleaning mode (vacuum only or mop + vacuum), set schedules, and start cleaning remotely or directly from the robot. Empty the dustbin and refill or dry the mop pad according to usage frequency, and follow the maintenance steps in the manual for brush and filter cleaning.

Recommendations

For consistent results, remove small obstacles and loose cords from floors before a run, secure lightweight rugs, and close doors to areas you do not want cleaned. Run initial mapping with typical room layout and lighting conditions to improve map accuracy. Regularly check and clean brushes and filters, and use the app to create virtual boundaries and tailored schedules for different rooms.
