Unmanaged Switch Dexlan 891008 8 porte Gigabit Ethernet sort

The Dexlan 891008 is an unmanaged switch with 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports designed to provide simple, plug-and-play network expansion for small and medium-sized environments. With eight 10/100/1000 RJ-45 ports and full-duplex support, the device delivers wire-speed connectivity for workstations, printers, access points and other Ethernet devices. The switch complies with IEEE 802.3x flow control and features an 8k MAC address table and a 16 Gbit/s switching capacity to handle typical office and home network traffic.

Advantages

The unmanaged architecture requires no configuration, enabling quick installation and immediate operation. Gigabit-capable RJ-45 ports provide higher bandwidth for data transfers and multimedia streaming. A compact black metal/plastic housing reduces footprint and can be placed on a desk or mounted in a small equipment area. IEEE 802.3x support improves reliability by using flow control to reduce packet loss under congestion. The 8k MAC table and 16 Gbit/s switching capacity ensure efficient forwarding and minimal bottlenecks in multi-device setups.

How to use

Place the Dexlan 891008 on a stable surface near your router, modem or network equipment. Connect one of the Gigabit RJ-45 ports to your existing network device using a standard Ethernet cable. Plug client devices into the remaining ports. Power the switch from its external power adapter and verify the port LEDs to confirm link and activity. The switch operates without configuration—connected devices will obtain network access according to your network’s DHCP or static IP settings.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use Cat5e or higher-rated Ethernet cables for Gigabit connections. Ensure adequate ventilation around the switch and avoid placing it in direct sunlight or near heat sources. When integrating into networks with managed core devices, place the switch at the network edge for simple port expansion. Regularly check firmware or hardware notices from the manufacturer for any updates or advisories.
