Alcatel Redundant OTSBC Reverse Proxy

Unplanned downtime in enterprise voice networks leads to dropped calls, lost revenue, and frustrated users. The Alcatel Redundant OTSBC Reverse Proxy Session Border Controller eliminates these risks by providing active-standby high availability and secure SIP/VoIP session management. It acts as a reverse proxy, shielding your internal telephony infrastructure from external threats while ensuring seamless connectivity across NAT and firewall boundaries.

Who is it for

This solution targets enterprises, service providers, and contact centers that demand carrier-grade reliability, robust security, and interoperability with major unified communications platforms. It is ideal for organizations migrating to VoIP or needing to secure remote worker connectivity.

Main features

• Active-standby high availability for continuous operation and zero call loss during failover.
• Reverse proxy architecture for secure external access, topology hiding, and NAT traversal.
• Comprehensive security: DoS/DDoS protection, stateful firewall, SRTP/TLS encryption.
• Support for SIP, H.323, RTP, and T.38 fax protocols with optional transcoding.
• Scalable concurrent session capacity (license-dependent) from hundreds to thousands of calls.
• Multiple Gigabit Ethernet ports for flexible network integration.
• Dual redundant hot-swappable power supplies (hardware appliance).
• Management via web GUI, CLI, and SNMP for simplified administration.
