Alphacool Core GPU-vandkøler til GeForce RTX 5090 med ARGB og backplate

The Alphacool Core GPU water block for GeForce RTX 5090 is a full-cover liquid cooling solution engineered to cool the GPU, its surrounding VRM and memory components in a custom water-cooling loop. The block features an integrated ARGB lighting system and includes a backplate to improve heat distribution and mechanical support. This component replaces standard air cooling on compatible GeForce RTX 5090 graphics cards to provide lower operating temperatures and reduced acoustic noise when properly integrated into a liquid loop.

Advantages

This water block provides direct-contact liquid cooling to critical GPU components, resulting in more efficient heat transfer compared with stock air coolers. Integrated ARGB lighting offers customizable illumination that can be synchronized with other ARGB components. The included backplate helps stiffen the graphics card PCB and assists in passive heat spreading. The design is compatible with standard G1/4" fittings used in custom loops and is made to fit the specified GeForce RTX 5090 PCB layout.

Suitable for

• Custom desktop PCs built with a GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card
• High-performance gaming rigs and workstations requiring lower GPU temperatures
• Silent or low-noise systems where fan RPMs are reduced by liquid cooling
• Systems with ARGB lighting ecosystems for unified visual customization

Key specifications

• Full-cover design cooling GPU, VRM and memory modules
• Integrated ARGB lighting with 3-pin header compatibility for lighting control
• Includes a rigid backplate for PCB reinforcement and heat distribution
• Standard G1/4" threaded ports for inlet and outlet connections
• Materials: copper cooling plate with nickel plating and acrylic top (transparent) for lighting visibility
• Compatibility: designed specifically for the GeForce RTX 5090 PCB layout

How to use

Install the water block as part of a closed custom water-cooling loop. Begin by removing the graphics card’s stock cooler and preparing the PCB with the supplied thermal pads and thermal paste on the GPU core, memory chips and voltage regulation components. Align the water block to the card, secure it with the provided screws while ensuring even pressure, and attach the included backplate. Connect the water block to the loop using appropriate G1/4" fittings and tubing, and connect the ARGB header to a compatible controller or motherboard header for lighting control. Perform a pressure and leak test before powering the system and monitor temperatures after first startup to confirm correct operation.

Recommendations

Use high-quality coolant and compatibility-checked tubing to avoid corrosion and ensure reliable flow. Verify that radiator size and pump performance in your loop are sufficient to dissipate the additional heat load from the GPU. Follow manufacturer torque guidelines when fastening the block to avoid damaging the PCB. Periodically inspect fittings and coolant and recheck ARGB connections to maintain both cooling performance and lighting functionality.
