Audio-dørtelefonanlæg GIRA 5565920

Gira System 106 is a frameless metal installation system with a puristic, elegant appearance and basic dimensions of 106.5 × 106.5 mm. The modular door intercom concept integrates call button, intercom, camera, info and blank modules into a uniform stainless steel front, providing a compact, durable solution for outdoor entrance communication. Backlit call buttons with inscription space ensure legibility at night. The GIRA 5565920 audio intercom system uses a stainless steel housing, wired connectivity and an IP54 rating suitable for outdoor installation.

Advantages

The modular design allows individual adaptation of size, design and functionality by exchanging modules as needed, and fronts can be swapped later without changing electronic units. High-quality real-material fronts are available in brushed stainless steel, anodised aluminium or lacquered metal alloy for durable, long-lasting surfaces. The system supports phased installation so components and cabling can be added during building progress. The camera and DIN 18040 display modules feature a black glass cover for a consistent appearance.

How to use

Decide on the required modules (call button, intercom/audio, camera, info) and configure the front material and layout to match the installation site. Install the surface-mounted housing and route the required cables; the system supports phased installation so the lower housing can be mounted during shell construction and modules added later. Connect the audio intercom wiring to the building power (AC or DC as applicable) and to the internal communication system following the manufacturer's installation instructions. Label call button and info modules using the Gira inscription service or compatible labelling methods.

Recommendations

For outdoor locations, mount the unit at a height and position that ensures camera view and button accessibility; use stainless steel fronts for high-corrosion environments and consider staged installation to coordinate with construction timing. Ensure cable entries and sealing comply with IP54 requirements.
