BALLARINI glaslåg Igloo Ø26cm

Monitoring your cooking without lifting the lid often means losing heat and moisture, but the BALLARINI Glass Lid Igloo Ø26cm solves this with a transparent tempered glass design that lets you watch your food as it cooks. The integrated steam vent prevents pressure build-up and reduces boil-overs, while the stainless steel rim ensures a secure fit on compatible 26 cm pots and pans. The black bakelite handle stays cool to the touch, making it safe and easy to lift the lid even during high-heat cooking.

Who is it for

It suits anyone using BALLARINI Igloo cookware or other pots and pans with a 26 cm diameter, and it is especially useful for recipes that require precise moisture and temperature control, such as simmering sauces, steaming vegetables, or braising meats.

Tips

To maximise the life of your glass lid, avoid sudden temperature changes—let it cool before washing if it has been on high heat. Although dishwasher safe, hand washing with mild detergent will keep the stainless steel rim shiny. Always ensure the lid is properly centred on the pot to maintain an even seal and prevent steam from escaping around the edges.
