This HP Enterprise fan offers a balance of reliable operation and straightforward installation. Its design emphasizes continuous performance under server workloads and reduced risk of overheating. The unit is built to fit within HP Enterprise enclosures and to integrate with existing cooling layouts without extensive modification.

Suitable for

• Replacing a failed or noisy case fan in compatible HP Enterprise servers and workstations
• Routine maintenance to restore factory cooling performance
• Temperature management in rack-mounted or tower HP systems

Key specifications

• Form factor: internal case/server cooling fan
• Intended use: server and workstation chassis airflow
• Construction: durable housing suitable for continuous operation
• Compatibility: designed for integration with HP Enterprise enclosures and cooling layouts

How to use

Power down the system and disconnect from mains power before attempting installation. Remove the chassis panel to access the failed fan, then disconnect the fan connector from the system board or fan backplane. Remove mounting screws or clips and replace with the HPE 735513-001 unit, secure with the original fasteners, and reconnect the electrical connector. Reassemble the chassis, restore power, and verify that the system recognizes and controls the fan as expected during startup and in system management utilities.

Recommendations

Use this fan as part of regular maintenance: check for accumulated dust, ensure airflow paths are unobstructed, and confirm firmware or system management settings allow appropriate fan control. Replace failed or noisy fans promptly to avoid thermal throttling or hardware damage.
