The Cimco 20 8330 is a PROFI SDS-Plus hammer drill bit designed for rotary hammers. With a 10 mm diameter and overall length of 160 mm, this single-piece drill bit is manufactured in Germany and suitable for all machines with SDS‑Plus holders. It features hard-metal cutting edges and a wide Twinmax helix for high drilling speed, while vibration-optimised drilling behaviour increases comfort and control. The bit is certified by the German Masonry Drill Bit Testing Association (PGM) in accordance with requirements set out by the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt).

How to use

Fit the drill bit securely into the SDS‑Plus chuck of a compatible rotary hammer. Select the hammer or rotary-hammer mode appropriate for the material, start drilling at low speed to position the bit, then apply steady pressure and allow the tool and bit to do the work. Periodically withdraw the bit to clear dust and prevent clogging, and avoid overheating by using controlled feed force and short pauses when drilling deep holes.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection). For best results in reinforced concrete or very hard masonry, use a suitable hammer setting and replace worn bits to maintain drilling performance. Store the bit dry to prevent corrosion.
