Borehammer Graphite 58G860

The GRAPHITE Rotary Hammer 58G860 is a mains-powered SDS+ percussion hammer designed for heavy-duty drilling, hammer drilling and chiseling tasks in construction and renovation. With a 900 W motor and a maximum impact energy of 4 J, this 3-function tool delivers the force required for work in brick, stone and concrete. The rotary hammer features a reinforced magnesium-alloy gearbox housing, a two-point anti-vibration main handle with anti-slip surface and a two-finger on/off switch for controlled operation. Supplied as a kit, the tool includes a drill bit, pick, assembly wrench, auxiliary rotating handle, adjustable drilling depth stop, lubricant reservoir and a multi-purpose carrying case.

Advantages

The 58G860 combines a high-power 900 W motor with a 4 J impact energy to provide effective percussion for demanding materials while maintaining reasonable weight for its class. The SDS+ three-function mechanism allows quick switching between drilling, hammer drilling and chiseling (shoeing) functions. Ergonomic design elements — a two-point anti-vibration system and anti-slip handle — reduce operator fatigue and improve control during prolonged use. Reinforced housing and a durable 4 m rubber-coated cable support professional and industrial applications. The kit format includes essential accessories for immediate use on site.

Suitable for

• Drilling holes in brick, stone and concrete
• Hammer drilling for anchor and fastening installation
• Chiseling and removal of plaster, tiles and mortar (shoring function)
• Installation and demolition tasks on construction and renovation sites

How to use

Fit the appropriate SDS+ bit or tool into the chuck according to the selected task. Choose the operating mode (drilling, hammer drilling or chiseling) using the mode selector. Hold the main handle and auxiliary rotating handle for stable positioning, switch the tool on using the two-finger on/off switch and apply steady pressure while drilling or chiseling. Use the adjustable depth stop when precise hole depth is required. For chiseling, use controlled short strokes with the shoeing function to avoid overloading the motor.

Recommendations

Before each use, check that the bit is securely locked in the SDS+ holder and inspect the cable and housing for damage. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as eye protection, hearing protection and dust mask when working with masonry and concrete. Allow the tool to cool under heavy continuous loads and follow the supplied maintenance instructions, including periodic lubrication from the provided reservoir. Store the tool and accessories in the carrying case to protect them from moisture and mechanical damage.
