Borsæt Cimco 203070 14 stk.

Drill bit set Cimco 203070 contains a selection of HSS taps and twist drills supplied in a plastic cassette. The set includes direct-cut HSS taps with shell cutting (DIN 352/B) for metric thread sizes and HSS spiral core drills for matching pilot holes, plus a tap wrench suitable for taps from M1 to M12. The tools are intended for right-hand rotation and designed for general-purpose metalworking tasks.

Advantages

The set combines DIN 352/B HSS taps with matching HSS spiral (core) drills to provide consistent thread-starting and precise pilot holes. Tools are supplied in a compact plastic cassette for organised storage. The included tap wrench accommodates taps from M1 to M12, allowing use across the provided metric tap sizes.

How to use

Select the drill size that matches the required pilot hole for the target tap size, secure the workpiece, and drill the pilot hole at right angles using appropriate speed and cutting fluid for the material. Install the selected HSS tap in the tap wrench, align with the drilled hole and turn clockwise to cut the thread, backing off periodically to clear chips. Use steady pressure and correct lubrication to avoid tap breakage; finish by cleaning the thread and checking fit with the mating bolt.

Recommendations

For best results in steel and general-purpose metals use cutting fluid and moderate spindle speed; when tapping softer materials reduce speed and apply lighter pressure. Store the set in its cassette to protect cutting edges and keep sizes organised.
