Borsæt KWB 424140

The KWB 424140 drill bit set contains 13 right-hand spiral drill bits, roll-forged and steam-hardened with a blue-black finish. Each bit has a Type N geometry and a 118° tip angle, suitable for drilling into alloyed and mild steel, castings, non-ferrous metals and hard plastics. The set is supplied in a hanging box for organised storage and easy access.

How to use

Select the appropriate drill bit size from the set and secure it in the drill chuck. Use right-hand rotation at a speed suitable for the material: higher speeds for non-ferrous metals and plastics, lower speeds for alloyed or mild steel and castings. Apply steady, perpendicular feed pressure and use cutting fluid when drilling steel or castings to improve tool life and hole quality. Withdraw the bit occasionally to clear chips when drilling deep holes.
