Bosch 2 607 019 580 bor-sæt

The Bosch 2 607 019 580 drill bit set contains seven wood drill bits with diameters 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10 mm. These bits are designed for precision drilling in timber and wood-based materials, featuring a sharp centre point for accurate starts and a durable fluted body for efficient chip removal and straight holes.

Advantages

The set offers a range of commonly used diameters in one kit, enabling quick selection for different hole sizes. Bosch manufacturing ensures consistent dimensions and reliable cutting performance. The sharp tip reduces wandering at the drill start and the flutes provide effective wood chip extraction, improving hole quality and drilling speed.

How to use

Select the required diameter for the hole, secure the workpiece, and install the drill bit in the chuck of a drill or drill driver. Start drilling at low speed to allow the centre point to locate, then increase speed and apply steady pressure. Withdraw the bit periodically to clear chips when drilling deep holes. Observe appropriate safety precautions, including eye protection.

Recommendations

For best results use appropriate drill speed for the material and avoid overheating the bit. When working with delicate veneer or thin panels, clamp the piece and consider backing it to prevent tear-out.
