Bosch 2 608 577 549 bor spiralbor 5 stk.

Bosch HSS PointTeQ drill bit set with five 12 mm spiral bits designed for metalworking. Each bit is made of high-speed steel (HSS) and features a 135° self-centering PointTeQ tip, a 6.35 mm hex (Inbus) shank and a total length of 151 mm with 101 mm working length. The set is supplied in a plastic storage box with euro hole.

Advantages

The PointTeQ design and 135° self-centering tip improve accuracy and reduce walking on metal surfaces. Black oxide-coated flutes increase wear resistance and heat dissipation while HSS material provides strength and thermal stability for prolonged drilling. The 6.35 mm hex shank ensures secure fit in quick-change chucks and impact drivers, enabling faster bit changes and stable torque transfer.

Suitable for

• Drilling holes in steel and other metals
• Workshop and industrial metalworking tasks
• Use with impact drivers and quick-change chucks
• Professional and DIY metal drilling requiring 12 mm diameter holes

How to use

Select the appropriate drill speed and clamp the 6.35 mm hex shank securely in the chuck or quick-change holder. Use cutting fluid when drilling harder metals to reduce heat and extend tool life. Start drilling at low speed to locate the marked point, then increase speed and apply steady pressure. Retract periodically to clear chips and prevent clogging of the flutes.

Recommendations

For best results on steel and thick metal, use cutting lubricant, moderate feed pressure and avoid excessive speed to reduce wear. Store the drill bits in the supplied plastic box to protect the tips and maintain alignment.
