Bosch 2 608 833 778 bor hammerbor 1 stk.

Drill Bit SDS Plus Bosch 2608833778 6 x 100 x 160 mm is a rotary hammer accessory designed for drilling precise 6 mm holes in masonry and concrete. The bit features an SDS Plus shank for secure, tool-holder engagement with compatible rotary hammers and provides a 100 mm effective drilling length within a 160 mm overall length. It is suitable for tasks that require clean, accurate holes for anchors, dowels and fasteners in solid substrates.

Advantages

This Bosch SDS Plus drill bit offers consistent drilling performance and reliable bit retention thanks to the standard SDS Plus shank. The 6 mm diameter ensures accurate hole sizing for common anchor and fastening systems. The combination of 100 mm working length and 160 mm total length gives sufficient reach for through-masonry and deeper embedment while minimizing bit flex. The carbide tip and robust shaft design provide wear resistance for repeated use in concrete and natural stone.

Suitable for

• Drilling 6 mm holes for anchors, screws and dowels in concrete and masonry
• Installation of fixtures where precise hole diameter is required
• Professional construction and renovation tasks with SDS Plus rotary hammers
• DIY projects involving drilling into brick, block or stone

Key specifications

• Shank type: SDS Plus
• Diameter: 6 mm
• Working (effective) length: 100 mm
• Total length: 160 mm
• Intended materials: masonry, concrete, natural stone

How to use

Install the SDS Plus drill bit into a compatible rotary hammer until it locks in place. Select the hammer-drill mode appropriate for concrete or masonry and set the correct rotational speed if adjustable. Position the bit tip on the marked drilling point, start at low speed to form a guide, then apply steady pressure while allowing the tool's impact action to do the work. Withdraw periodically to clear dust from the hole when drilling deep or through dense materials.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment including eye and ear protection and a dust mask when drilling concrete or masonry. For optimal bit life, avoid excessive lateral force and ensure proper cooling by clearing dust frequently. Verify compatibility of the 6 mm hole with anchors or fasteners before final installation.
