How to use

Power off the printer and follow the manufacturer’s service instructions for replacing the print head. Remove the protective covers and handle the unit by designated grips to avoid contact with nozzle plates. Install the print head into the carriage or holder according to the printer service manual, secure fasteners if present, and reconnect any electrical contacts. After installation, run the printer’s built-in head alignment and nozzle check routines to confirm correct operation and perform any required cleaning cycles before production printing.

Recommendations

Use the print head with recommended Canon inks and media profiles to maintain color fidelity and prolong component life. Store spare units in original packaging in a dry, room-temperature environment and avoid exposing nozzle surfaces to dust or direct contact. If frequent nozzle clogging occurs, perform manufacturer-recommended maintenance and consider environmental controls such as humidity management in the print area.
