Unpack the new Canon 8522B002 drum, avoid touching the drum surface, insert it into the printer until it locks into place, then reinstall the toner cartridge and close the access panel. Power the printer on and perform any recommended calibration or cleaning cycles as described in the printer manual.

Recommendations

The Canon original drum works best when paired with genuine Canon toner cartridges and when stored in a cool, dry place prior to installation. Replace the drum when print quality shows consistent streaks, colour shifts or when the printer indicates end-of-life for the drum unit.
