Canon LASER-SCANNER-ENHED

When print quality begins to fade or ghosting appears, the laser scanner unit is often the silent culprit. The Canon RM2-6050 replaces that critical component with a genuine OEM part, restoring the crisp, precise output your Canon laser printer or multifunction device delivered on day one. Unlike generic alternatives, this unit is built to the exact tolerances Canon engineers specify, ensuring stable beam accuracy and long-term reliability.

Highlights

• Genuine Canon OEM laser scanner unit for guaranteed compatibility and performance.
• Semiconductor laser diode with rotating polygon mirror for high-speed, accurate beam scanning.
• Supports native printer resolutions up to 1200 dpi for sharp text and detailed graphics.
• Precision optical system with lenses and mirrors ensures consistent image formation on the OPC drum.
• Robust metal chassis and durable plastic housing protect internal optics from dust and vibration.
• Internal 24V DC operation integrates seamlessly with your printer's power supply.

In daily use

Installed inside the printer, the RM2-6050 works continuously to direct the laser beam across the photosensitive drum, creating the latent image that attracts toner. A failing unit can cause streaks, faded prints, or complete loss of image. Replacing it with this genuine Canon part restores first-page quality and reduces service calls. Professional installation is recommended, but the multi-pin connector and standardized mounting make it a straightforward swap for trained technicians.
