Captiva 80280 patchkabel RJ45 CAT 8 1 m hvid

The Captiva 80280 RJ45 CAT 8 patch cable in white is a 1 meter network cable designed for high-speed Ethernet and LAN connections. Built to support up to 40 Gbps data transfer rates, this cable is intended for environments where low latency and high bandwidth are required. The RJ45 connectors ensure a secure connection to compatible ports while the one-metre length suits rack, desktop and short-run patching scenarios.

Advantages

This CAT 8 cable offers shielding and twisted-pair construction that reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity over short distances. Its RJ45 terminations are compatible with standard Ethernet ports, providing a firm mechanical fit. The compact 1 m length minimizes excess cable clutter in tight setups and the white outer jacket presents a neutral aesthetic for visible installations.

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end to the Ethernet port of your switch, router or network interface and the other end to the corresponding device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. For best performance, avoid excessive bending or tension on the cable and route it away from strong electromagnetic sources. Use the 1 m length for short, direct links; for longer runs select a cable with a suitable length and category.

Recommendations

Inspect connectors for debris before installation and replace the cable if the outer jacket or connectors show visible damage. For installations in environments with high electrical noise, use properly grounded equipment and maintain shield continuity by connecting to shielded ports or patch panels.
