Chieftec CI-02B-OP Computerkabinet Cube sort

The CI-02B-OP is part of CHIEFTEC's Mesh Series in a compact micro-ATX cube form factor. It offers notable hardware compatibility despite its small footprint, supporting ATX power supplies up to 160 mm long, graphics cards up to 320 mm in length and CPU coolers up to 160 mm in height. The case also provides flexible storage options with support for 5.25" and 3.5" optical drives, two 3.5" HDDs and three 2.5" SSDs, making it suitable for home entertainment systems or a compact server. The exterior combines brushed aluminium accents with mesh panels for improved airflow and a restrained, professional appearance.

Advantages

The compact cube design balances small size with broad component compatibility, permitting full-size graphics cards and ATX power supplies. Mesh panels enhance ventilation while brushed aluminium elements deliver a subdued, professional finish. Multiple internal drive bays provide versatility for multimedia setups or small server configurations.

Key specifications

• Form factor: micro-ATX cube (m-ATX)
• Maximum GPU length: 320 mm
• Maximum CPU cooler height: 160 mm
• Supported PSU length: up to 160 mm (ATX)
• Drive bays: 1× 5.25" optical, 1× 3.5" optical, 2× 3.5" HDD, 3× 2.5" SSD

How to use

Install a micro-ATX or smaller motherboard and mount an ATX power supply up to 160 mm in length. Fit the graphics card (up to 320 mm) into the PCIe slot and secure the CPU cooler not exceeding 160 mm in height. Configure storage by installing optical drives and hard or solid-state drives into the provided bays, and connect all power and data cables. Ensure adequate cable management to maintain airflow through the mesh panels.

Recommendations

For optimal cooling, use low-profile or mid-height CPU coolers and ensure clearance for a 320 mm GPU; choose a high-efficiency ATX PSU within the 160 mm length limit and verify drive bay requirements before purchase.
