Citizen parallelgrænseflade

Where many printers rely on USB or serial alone, this internal parallel interface board opens a direct, low-latency channel between legacy point-of-sale systems and select Citizen thermal and label printers. It is a genuine component engineered for environments where a standard parallel port remains the backbone of daily operations—warehouse label stations, kitchen receipt printers, and industrial tagging lines.

Highlights

• IEEE 1284 parallel interface with DB-25 female connector for reliable host communication.
• Supports SPP, EPP, and ECP modes, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of parallel ports.
• Internal plug-in module powered directly by the printer mainboard—no external power supply needed.
• RoHS compliant, built on a high-quality PCB with a metal mounting bracket for durability.
• Plug & play installation with driver support on the host system.

In daily use

Installed inside the printer chassis, this board provides a stable parallel connection for high-volume printing tasks. It is particularly valuable in retail and logistics settings where older host computers or specialized industrial controllers still use parallel communication. Data transfer rates up to 2 MB/s keep print jobs moving without bottlenecks, while the robust construction withstands continuous use in demanding environments.
