How to use

Insert the USB C connector into the matching port on the barcode reader or designated device and plug the other end into the host computer, tablet, or POS terminal. Ensure connectors are aligned correctly before mating to avoid damaging ports. Once connected, check the host device recognizes the scanner; install any required drivers or configure the scanner according to Datalogic’s setup instructions if prompted. When disconnecting, grasp the connector body rather than pulling the cable to preserve the cable junction.

Recommendations

To extend the service life of the cable, avoid sharp bends and exposure to excessive heat or chemical agents. Route the cable to reduce tension and pinch points, and inspect connectors periodically for debris or damage. Replace the cable if the jacket is compromised or if intermittent communication occurs.
