How to use

Install the DECT base station in a central location to ensure optimal radio coverage; mount it on a wall or place it in a communications cabinet close to the PBX connection. Connect the unit to the PBX according to the telephony system documentation and supply power using the recommended low-voltage source. Register DECT handsets through the PBX provisioning process or the base station registration mode, then verify handset roaming and call routing across the coverage area. Perform a radio survey if necessary to identify coverage gaps and adjust placement or add additional base stations to ensure seamless handover.

Recommendations

Place the unit away from large metal obstacles and sources of electromagnetic interference to maintain optimal DECT signal performance. For dense or multi-floor environments, plan a deployment with overlapping coverage and perform handset roaming tests to confirm uninterrupted desk-to-desk mobility.
