DeLOCK 66876 patchpanel 1U Cat6a sort metal

The DeLOCK 66876 patch panel 1U Cat6a Black Metal is a rack-mounted network panel designed to organize Cat6a cabling in standard 19-inch racks. With a 1U height and a width of 482.6 mm, this metal panel provides 16 front-facing ports in a compact black housing, allowing orderly termination and routing of Ethernet connections in data closets, server rooms and network distribution frames.

Advantages

This patch panel is constructed from metal for mechanical stability and long-term durability. The 1U form factor conserves rack space while supporting Cat6a cabling performance. Sixteen evenly spaced ports simplify cable management and labeling, and the black finish offers a discreet professional appearance that integrates with most rack equipment.

Suitable for

• Mounting in 19-inch server racks and network cabinets
• Organizing Cat6a structured cabling in office and data center environments
• Creating a centralized patching point for switches, routers and patch cords
• Small to medium-sized LAN installations requiring 16-port patching

Key specifications

• Rack unit height: 1U
• Compatible rack width: 482.6 mm (19-inch standard)
• Port count: 16
• Cable category: Cat6a
• Material: Metal housing
• Color: Black
• Panel height: 100 mm

How to use

Install the patch panel in a standard 19-inch rack using four mounting screws aligned with the rack’s mounting rails. Terminate Cat6a cables on the rear of each port following T568A or T568B wiring schemes as required by your network design, and secure individual cables with strain relief where applicable. Connect front-facing ports to switches or other active equipment with short patch cords, and label ports to match your documentation for easier identification and troubleshooting.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, maintain proper cable bend radius and follow Cat6a installation practices including limiting untwisted pairs length at termination points. Keep the patch panel mounted in a ventilated cabinet and avoid over-tightening mounting hardware. Use color-coded patch cords or port labeling to streamline maintenance and reduce downtime.
