How to use

Install the DeLOCK 91708 into an available 3.5" drive bay in your desktop computer following normal static-safe procedures. Connect the internal USB 2.0 cable to a nearby USB header on the motherboard. After installation, power on the computer and allow the operating system to detect the device; drivers are typically provided by the OS for USB mass-storage compliant card readers. Insert the appropriate memory card into the corresponding front slot until it clicks into place, then access files through the file manager as with any removable drive. Remove cards using the system's safe ejection procedure if required by the operating system.

Recommendations

Use the DeLOCK card reader for routine file transfers and media access; avoid forcing cards into slots and ensure the system is powered off or cards are safely ejected before removal to prevent data loss. For large transfers consider using shorter USB transfer sessions to reduce the chance of interruption and keep the card contacts clean and free of dust for reliable performance.
