DeLOCK Fiberdåse 2 x SC/APC Simplex 40 m

The DeLOCK Optical Fiber Connection Box 2 x SC/APC Simplex 40 m is a pre-assembled FTTH connection set designed for rapid and secure installation of a fiber optic network in buildings. It includes a connection box with mounting options and a 40 m G.657.A1 drop cable pre-terminated with 2 x SC/APC simplex connectors, supplied on a reel in a cardboard dispenser for convenient cable pulling up to the house distributor.

Advantages

The connection box supports both wall mounting in flush-mounted and cavity wall boxes and DIN rail mounting using integrated clips that fit a 35 mm DIN rail horizontally or vertically. Pre-mounted cables reduce installation time and minimise handling of delicate fiber ends. The closed cardboard reel box protects the drop cable during storage and installation and allows controlled dispensing of the 40 m G.657.A1 fibre.

Suitable for

• FTTH drop installations to residential buildings
• Indoor fiber termination points in apartments or utility rooms
• Service providers and contractors performing fast fiber rollouts
• Environments requiring SC/APC simplex terminations

How to use

Mount the connection box to a flush-mounted or cavity wall box using the provided mounting openings, or attach it to a 35 mm DIN rail using the integrated clips in horizontal or vertical orientation. Pull the pre-assembled drop cable from the cardboard reel and route it to the house distributor. Connect the 2 x SC/APC simplex connectors to the corresponding adapters or adapters in the building’s optical distribution frame according to standard fiber handling procedures. Ensure proper strain relief and secure cable routing inside the box.

Recommendations

Handle the SC/APC connectors and fiber ends with appropriate care: keep connector endfaces clean, use dust caps until final connection, and follow standard fiber optic safety and inspection practices. Avoid sharp bends; maintain the minimum bend radius specified for G.657.A1 fiber during installation.
