Dreje-lydstyrkeregulator Omnitronic 80711151

The Omnitronic 80711151 rotary volume control is a wall-mounted passive control unit for adjusting audio levels in residential or commercial installations. It provides a continuous rotary control with a compact white housing sized to fit standard wall boxes. The device supports a frequency range of 50–18,000 Hz and is intended to drive loudspeakers with an output impedance of approximately 4 Ω, with an RMS rated power of 5 W. Its modest dimensions (80 mm × 82 mm × 80 mm) allow integration into tight spaces while maintaining a discrete appearance.

Advantages

This rotary volume control offers straightforward, tactile level adjustment without the need for external power. The broad frequency response maintains signal integrity across typical audio bands. The low-profile, white enclosure is intended to match common interior finishes and minimize visual impact. The unit’s simple electrical characteristics and modest power rating make it suitable for low-power speaker circuits and multi-zone setups where individual level control is required.

How to use

Install the rotary volume control into a compatible wall box and connect the speaker wires according to the system wiring diagram, ensuring correct polarity. No external power supply is required. Rotate the control knob to increase or decrease the audio level; the mechanism provides continuous adjustment for fine-tuning. Verify the loudspeaker and amplifier compatibility with the device’s 4 Ω nominal impedance and 5 W RMS rating before regular use.

Recommendations

For stable operation, use this control with low-power speaker channels or as a local attenuator in multi-zone systems. Avoid connecting to high-power amplifiers or speakers with significantly lower impedance without confirming compatibility. Periodically check wall box mounting and wiring connections for safety and consistent performance.
