DSIT DS-10Patch5-12UTP 10 inch 12-port UTP CAT 5e patchpanel

Managing network cables in tight spaces often becomes a chaotic mess of tangled wires and unreliable connections. The DSIT DS-10Patch5-12UTP 10-inch 12-Port UTP CAT 5e Patch Panel solves this by providing a compact, structured termination point for your Ethernet infrastructure. Designed for 10-inch racks, this unshielded patch panel offers 12 RJ45 ports with CAT 5e performance, supporting Gigabit Ethernet speeds up to 1000 Mbps. Its steel housing and gold-plated contacts ensure durability and consistent signal quality, making it a reliable choice for small offices, home labs, and network enclosures where space is at a premium.

Who is it for

This patch panel is ideal for IT professionals, network installers, and tech-savvy homeowners who need to organize network cabling in compact 10-inch rack setups. It suits environments such as small server rooms, structured cabling projects, and edge network deployments where a full-size 19-inch panel would be excessive.

Tips

To ensure optimal performance, use CAT 5e or higher grade UTP cables and maintain proper cable management behind the panel. When punching down wires, follow the same wiring standard (568A or 568B) on both ends of each run. For best results, use a quality LSA+ punch-down tool and avoid excessive untwisting of pairs.
