DSIT DS-10Patch6-8UTP 10 inch 8-port UTP CAT 6 patchpanel

In small offices, retail back rooms, or compact network cabinets, the DSIT DS-10Patch6-8UTP provides a tidy, rack-mountable hub for up to eight Gigabit Ethernet connections. Its 10-inch form factor fits where full-size 19-inch panels cannot, while the unshielded CAT 6 design keeps termination straightforward and cost-effective for everyday structured cabling.

Key specifications

• 8 RJ45 ports on the front, each with gold-plated phosphor bronze contacts for reliable signal integrity
• Rear LSA/IDC termination blocks compatible with standard Krone or LSA+ punch-down tools
• Supports TIA/EIA 568A/B wiring schemes for flexible installation
• CAT 6 performance rated for Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-T) and 10GBASE-T over shorter distances
• Sturdy metal housing in black, designed for 10-inch racks, 1U height
• Operating temperature range: -10°C to 60°C, suitable for non-climate-controlled spaces

Why choose it

This panel simplifies cable management in space-constrained environments. Its compact 10-inch width integrates seamlessly with small wall-mount cabinets or desk-level enclosures, while the UTP construction avoids the extra cost and grounding complexity of shielded systems. The metal frame provides durability, and the clearly labeled ports reduce installation errors.

Ideal use cases

• SOHO networks where a few wired devices need a central termination point
• Retail point-of-sale systems with multiple network drops in a compact back office
• Small surveillance or access control installations with up to eight IP cameras or readers
• Temporary or modular setups that require a lightweight, rack-mountable patch field

Good to know

The panel includes no cables or accessories; punch-down tool and patch cords are sold separately. Its IDC blocks accept 22–26 AWG solid copper conductors. For best performance, maintain proper pair twists up to the termination point and avoid excessive untwisting. The black finish blends with most rack hardware, and the 1U height leaves room for additional 10-inch components in the same cabinet.
