Dynatron S2-4710 CPU-køler 2U til sokkel 4710 passiv

In a dense 2U rackmount server running 24/7, every watt of heat matters. The Dynatron S2-4710 steps in as a silent thermal solution for Intel LGA1151 Xeon E3-1200 v5/v6 and Core i3/i5/i7 processors. Its passive design relies on chassis airflow to dissipate up to 80W TDP, eliminating fan noise and failure points. The copper base and aluminum fins ensure efficient heat transfer, while the pre-applied thermal grease simplifies installation. This cooler is built for system integrators and IT administrators who need dependable cooling in space-constrained environments.

Key specifications

• Passive heatsink for 2U servers and workstations
• Socket compatibility: Intel LGA1151
• Supports Intel Xeon E3-1200 v5/v6, Core i3/i5/i7, Pentium, Celeron
• TDP support up to 80W with adequate system airflow
• Copper base and aluminum fins, no heat pipes
• Pre-applied thermal grease (Shin-Etsu G751)
• Screw-on mounting system (backplate required, typically motherboard-provided)
• Fanless operation: 0 dBA noise level
• Dimensions: 89 x 89 x 64 mm, weight 400 g

Why choose it

Silence and reliability define the S2-4710. Without a fan, there are no moving parts to wear out, making it ideal for noise-sensitive deployments like office servers or media workstations. The solid copper base pulls heat away from the CPU quickly, while the aluminum fin stack dissipates it into the server's airflow path. It's a straightforward, durable solution that keeps your system running cool without adding acoustic or mechanical complexity.

Ideal use cases

• 2U rackmount servers in data centers or enterprise closets
• High-density computing clusters with strong chassis airflow
• Silent workstations for audio/video production
• Industrial PCs and embedded systems requiring passive cooling
• Upgrading stock coolers in LGA1151 server builds

Good to know

This cooler requires a chassis with sufficient directed airflow to meet its cooling potential. Verify that your motherboard includes or supports a backplate for secure mounting. The pre-applied thermal grease is ready out of the box, but can be replaced if needed. As a passive solution, it's best paired with high-static-pressure case fans to maintain optimal temperatures under sustained loads.
