EBC 03/G sølv Kathrein

The Kathrein EBC 03/G Silver is a three-way coaxial distributor with 75 Ω impedance and a frequency range of 5–1218 MHz. It features F-type connectors, isolating capacitors at inputs and outputs, and meets screening class A according to CENELEC EN 50083-2. Its compact metal housing and silver finish suit a variety of installation environments where reliable signal splitting is required.

Advantages

The distributor provides a consistent 6.0 dB split across three outputs and maintains signal integrity due to built-in isolating capacitors. Compliance with CENELEC EN 50083-2 screening class A ensures reduced interference and improved electromagnetic compatibility. F-type connectors and a robust construction offer dependable mechanical and electrical connections for coaxial installations.

How to use

Mount the distributor in a dry, accessible location and connect the coaxial feed to the input F-connector. Attach the three output cables to the output F-connectors. Ensure connectors are tightened securely but avoid over-torquing. Verify correct impedance and continuity with appropriate test equipment after installation. Follow local regulations and safety practices when routing cables and mounting the unit.

Recommendations

To maintain screening performance, use quality screened coaxial cables and properly grounded installation points; periodically inspect connectors for corrosion or looseness and replace damaged cables to preserve signal quality.
