Rundstråleantenne Savio AK-05

The Savio AK-05 is an omni-directional antenna for the 2.4 GHz band with a maximum gain of 12 dBi. It includes an RP-SMA connector and a 2‑meter cable, providing 360° coverage for improving wireless signal strength and range when connected to access points, wireless cards or portable computers equipped with RP‑SMA interfaces.

Advantages

The antenna delivers higher signal strength and extended range compared with typical 2–3 dBi serial-mounted antennas. Its omni-directional pattern provides uniform coverage around the installation point, and the included RP‑SMA cable allows direct connection to devices with RP‑SMA ports.

Suitable for

• Extending Wi‑Fi coverage in homes and small offices
• Connecting to access points and routers with RP‑SMA connectors
• Using with USB or PCIe wireless cards (devices with RP‑SMA)
• Improving signal for portable computers with detachable RP‑SMA antennas

Key specifications

• Frequency band: 2.4 GHz
• Maximum gain: 12 dBi
• Radiation pattern: omni‑directional (360°)
• Connector type: RP‑SMA
• Cable length: 2 m

How to use

Screw the antenna’s RP‑SMA connector onto the RP‑SMA socket of the wireless card, access point or router. Position the antenna vertically for typical omni‑directional coverage and place it as high and unobstructed as possible to maximize range. For devices with an external cable, route the cable to a location that provides the best reception and secure connectors to avoid strain.

Recommendations

To achieve the best performance, avoid placing the antenna near large metal objects or dense obstacles. If regulatory limits apply, ensure antenna gain complies with local transmission power regulations when used with active devices.
