Equip Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP patchkabel, 1,0 m, gul

The Equip Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP patch cable (1 m, yellow) is a high-performance RJ-45 patch cord designed for 10GBase-T networks. Constructed from quality materials and tested to meet industry standards, this Cat.6A cable offers increased bandwidth and improved signal-to-noise margin for reliable, low-error data transmission in demanding environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors and S/FTP shielding reduce signal loss and external interference while the 1 meter length suits short links in racks or workstations.

Advantages

The Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP design provides support for up to 10000 Mbit/s data rates and enhanced protection against electromagnetic and crosstalk interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve conductivity and corrosion resistance. The yellow jacket improves visibility in cable runs and identification within structured cabling installations.

Suitable for

• 10GBase-T networking between switches, patch panels and servers
• High-density rack and data centre patching
• Workstation and office equipment connections requiring short cable runs (1 m)

Key specifications

• Cabling technology: 10GBase-T (Cat.6A)
• Length: 1 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Shielding: S/FTP (shielded foil with individually braided pairs)
• Maximum data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Colour: Yellow
• Weight: 0.053 kg

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network port on switches, patch panels, routers or network interfaces until the latch clicks. Use the 1 m cable to create short, direct connections in racks, at workstations or between closely positioned devices. Ensure connectors are fully seated and that cable bend radius is respected to maintain performance.

Recommendations

Route the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources and avoid tight bends or crushing. For critical 10G links, verify termination and test the link with appropriate certification tools to confirm Cat.6A performance.
