Farbånd sort 20m TallyGenicom 062471

The TallyGenicom Fabric Ribbon in black, 20 m length, is a replacement ribbon designed for textile-style impact printing and dot-matrix applications. It produces sharp, legible characters for continuous and multipart forms, ensuring reliable text output for administrative and industrial environments. The ribbon is manufactured to deliver consistent density across its length and to withstand extended print runs without frequent replacement.

Advantages

This fabric ribbon provides stable ink coverage that maintains clear, high-contrast print quality over prolonged use. Its construction supports long print runs and reduces the need for frequent changes, contributing to lower operating costs. The black ink formulation resists smudging on common paper types and is suitable for continuous-form and multipart stationery. Designed for compatibility with TallyGenicom printers, the ribbon offers predictable performance and ease of installation.

Suitable for

• Printing invoices, receipts and shipping documents on continuous forms
• High-volume data logging and administrative reports
• Multi-part form printing where carbon copies are required
• Industrial or back-office environments using compatible TallyGenicom impact printers

Key specifications

• Ribbon type: fabric (cloth) ink ribbon
• Color: black
• Length: 20 metres
• Print yield: rated for up to twenty million characters
• Compatibility: designed for use with specified TallyGenicom impact printers and models requiring a 20 m fabric ribbon

How to use

Install the ribbon following the printer manufacturer’s instructions for your specific TallyGenicom model. Ensure the printer is powered off or in an idle state before replacing the ribbon, then remove the spent ribbon cassette and fit the new fabric ribbon so that it advances freely and sits correctly on the printhead path. After installation, perform a test print to confirm correct alignment and ink density. Replace the ribbon when print density noticeably fades or when the ribbon reaches the end of its usable length.

Recommendations

Store the fabric ribbon in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and strong heat sources to preserve ink quality. Use originals or recommended paper types for best legibility, and avoid excessive wiping of the printhead to prevent damage. For continuous high-volume printing, keep spare ribbons on hand to minimize downtime.
