Fiberadapter LC/APC Telegärtner J08071A0004 grøn

The Telegärtner LC/APC fibre optic adapter in green is a single-mode coupling element designed for precise alignment of two LC/APC fibre connectors. Compliant with IEC 61754-20, this adapter supports high-performance optical connections with low insertion loss and stable mechanical fit. Supplied as a single unit, it is suitable for use in patch panels, fibre distribution frames, and inline connections where LC/APC termination is required.

Advantages

This LC/APC adapter offers accurate ferrule alignment and reliable end-face contact to minimize back reflection and insertion loss in single-mode networks. The green color denotes APC geometry for quick identification in mixed-connector environments. The adapter's dimensions and compliance with IEC 61754-20 ensure compatibility with standard LC/APC connectors and consistent optical performance across installations.

Suitable for

• Single-mode fibre patch panels and distribution frames
• Optical network terminals and media converters with LC/APC ports
• Splice-less connections and field repair points
• Laboratory test setups and measurement chains requiring APC connectors

Key specifications

• Connector type: LC/APC (single-mode)
• Standard compliance: IEC 61754-20
• Color: Green (APC identification)
• Packaging: single piece
• Typical application: fibre optic coupling for LC/APC terminations

How to use

Insert LC/APC connectors into each side of the adapter until a tactile click confirms engagement, ensuring ferrules are clean and free of dust or debris before mating. For best optical performance, inspect and, if necessary, clean connector end-faces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools prior to connection. Mount the adapter into the intended panel or housing following the panel's mechanical guidance, and avoid bending the attached fibres beyond their minimum bend radius during installation.

Recommendations

Store and handle the adapter in a clean environment; use dust caps when adapters are unused. Regularly check insertion loss and return loss when integrating into active networks, and replace adapters showing physical damage or degraded optical performance. Use with LC/APC-terminated single-mode fibres only.
