Fiberkabel DeLOCK 5 m LC-LC 84608

The DeLOCK 5m LC-LC fibre optic cable is designed for high-speed data transmission between networking devices. It features LC connectors on both ends, OS2 single-mode fibre with a 9 µm core diameter and a 5 metre cable length to support reliable full-duplex communication between e.g. SFP modules, switches, network interface cards or media converters.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable provides low attenuation and stable optical performance suitable for long-distance single-mode connections. The LC-LC connectors ensure secure, standardized plug-and-play interoperability with equipment that uses LC ports. Its 5 m length offers flexibility in rack and cabinet installations while maintaining signal integrity thanks to the OS2 fibre type and 9 µm core.

Suitable for

• Connecting an SFP module or NIC to a switch
• Linking media converters to network equipment
• Data centre and server rack interconnects
• Single-mode optical links over short to medium distances

Key specifications

• Brand: DELOCK
• Manufacturer part number (MPN): 84608
• EAN: 4043619846085
• Connector type: LC - LC
• Fibre type: OS2 (single-mode)
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Length: 5 m
• Duplex: Full duplex

How to use

Insert each LC connector into the corresponding LC port on your devices until they click into place, taking care to align the connector keys and protect ferrules from contamination. Use one fibre for transmit and the other for receive to establish full-duplex communication. Avoid sharp bends and secure the cable in the rack or conduit to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

When installing, keep protective caps on connectors until final connection and clean ferrules with approved fibre cleaning tools if contamination is suspected. Do not exceed the minimum bend radius specified by the cable manufacturer and route the cable away from sources of mechanical stress or excessive heat.
