Fiberkabel DeLOCK 85129 3 m LC blå

This fibre optical cable by Delock is a 3 m OM3 multimode patch cable with LC connectors on both ends and a 50 µm core diameter. It is designed for connecting networking devices such as network interface cards with SFP modules, switches or media converters. The cable features a single sheath and boot that enclose both fibres for compact routing, and a release/extractor lever on the connector for easy removal from high-density panels.

Advantages

The DeLOCK 85129 offers OM3 multimode performance suitable for high-speed short-range links, standardized 50 µm core diameter for compatibility with multimode SFP modules, and LC-to-LC termination for common optical ports. Its shared sheath and boot reduce space consumption in cable runs and patch panels, while the extractor lever simplifies unplugging in dense installations. The blue color coding assists with identification and cable management.

Suitable for

• Patch connections between NICs with SFP modules and switches
• Connecting media converters to network equipment
• Short-range multimode links in data centers and server rooms

How to use

Insert each LC connector into the corresponding LC port on your devices until the latch clicks. To remove the cable from high-density panels, use the extractor lever on the connector to release the latch and gently pull the cable out. Avoid bending the cable beyond its minimum bend radius and keep connectors covered when not in use to prevent contamination.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use the cable within typical OM3 multimode distance limits for your SFP modules, maintain clean connector endfaces by using appropriate cleaning tools, and route the cable to avoid sharp bends, tension, and mechanical stress.
