Fiberoptisk adapter TOSLINK ShiverPeaks BS69100

The ShiverPeaks BS69100 TOSLINK fibre optic adapter provides a compact solution for transmitting digital audio signals over optical connections. Constructed from Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), the adapter is intended to offer reliable mechanical protection and stable alignment for TOSLINK plugs. Supplied as a single unit, it integrates into home audio systems, soundbars, AV receivers and other devices equipped with optical audio ports.

Advantages

This TOSLINK fibre optic adapter is made from durable ABS to resist everyday wear and provide consistent connector alignment. Its compact form factor reduces strain on ports and cables while facilitating simple insertion and removal. The adapter supports lossless optical audio transmission inherent to TOSLINK connections and is compatible with standard optical cables and ports.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs to soundbars or AV receivers via TOSLINK optical cable
• Linking CD/DVD/Blu-ray players to audio processors or DACs with optical inputs
• Extending or adapting optical cable runs in home theatre setups
• Replacing or supplementing existing optical connectors in desktop audio systems

Key specifications

• Material: Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS)
• Interface type: TOSLINK / optical audio
• Sold quantity: single piece
• Color: manufacturer standard finish (refer to product images)
• Use: passive mechanical adapter for optical audio connections

How to use

Align the TOSLINK plug of the optical cable with the adapter's socket and insert gently until it seats securely; avoid forcing the connector to prevent damage to the fibre or the adapter. Connect the other end of the optical cable to the device’s TOSLINK output or input as required. Verify that source and target devices are set to use optical audio output/input in their audio settings. When disconnecting, pull the plug straight out without twisting to reduce stress on the optical fibre.

Recommendations

Handle the optical cable and adapter with care to avoid kinks or excessive bending of the fibre. Keep dust caps on unused optical ports and store the adapter in a dry environment to maintain optical performance. If audio dropouts occur, inspect connectors for dust and gently clean with appropriate optical-cleaning tools before replacing components.
