Fischer S 6 ekspansionsdybel

The fischer expansion plug S 6 is a rimless nylon anchor designed for reliable fixing in solid building materials. Made of high-quality grey nylon, the plug offers robust behaviour during installation and long-term holding performance. With a length of 30 mm and a drill hole diameter of 6 mm, the plug requires a minimum drill hole depth of 40 mm and is supplied in packs of 100 pieces.

Advantages

The rimless design allows pre-positioned and push-through installation while simplified geometry ensures easy insertion into the drill hole. The anti-rotation lock prevents the plug from turning inside the hole, directing expansion forces in two directions and enabling controlled load transfer parallel to the substrate edge to reduce the risk of spalling. The use of durable nylon provides resistance to deformation and dependable long-term performance for light-duty fixtures.

Suitable for

• Fixing picture frames
• Mounting lights and luminaires
• Securing lightweight wall cabinets
• Electrical installation components

How to use

Drill a hole with a 6 mm drill bit to a depth of at least 40 mm in the recommended solid base material. Clean the hole of dust and debris, then insert the Fischer expansion plug S 6 either by pre-positioning or by pushing it through the fixture into the hole. Fit the appropriate screw and tighten to expand the plug. Ensure the screw length and type are suitable for the fixture and substrate to achieve full expansion and secure anchorage.

Recommendations

Use the Fischer S 6 in solid building materials (concrete, solid brick, natural stone). When fixing close to edges, orient the plug to direct expansion forces parallel to the edge to reduce the risk of spalling. Select screws of appropriate length and material for the load and environment; do not use the plug in hollow or highly cracked substrates.
