Fladt stik ShiverPeaks Basic-S

The ShiverPeaks Basic-S flat connector is a single-piece banana-style connector designed for straightforward electrical connections. Available in gold, red, and white finishes, this flat connector offers a compact profile suitable for visible or tight installations where a low-profile contact is required. The Basic-S is supplied as one piece and is intended for use in a variety of electronic setups that require a reliable single-connection banana-type contact.

Advantages

The connector combines a banana connector interface with a flat, low-profile housing that simplifies inline and panel mounting. Multiple color options (gold, red, white) support color-coded wiring or aesthetic matching. The single-piece packaging makes it convenient to source individual replacement connectors without excess quantity. The design emphasizes reliable conductivity and ease of insertion and removal.

Suitable for

• Audio equipment where banana-style connections are used
• Laboratory test rigs and measurement setups
• Compact electronic assemblies and hobbyist projects
• Color-coded wiring and quick-identification terminals

Key specifications

• Connector type: banana-style flat connector
• Quantity: single piece
• Available finishes: gold, red, white
• Form factor: low-profile / flat housing for tight spaces

How to use

Insert the banana pin into a compatible banana socket or binding post until a secure fit is achieved. Ensure correct polarity and color coding when connecting multiple leads. For panel or chassis installations, align the flat housing with the mounting aperture and secure according to the receiving device's instructions. Regularly inspect the contact area for corrosion or wear and replace the connector if mechanical damage or poor conductivity is observed.

Recommendations

Use the gold-finished variant in signal paths where corrosion resistance and consistent conductivity are desired. Reserve colored finishes for organized wiring runs and clear polarity marking. Avoid excessive bending or torsion on the cable side of the connector to prolong service life, and clean contacts periodically in environments prone to oxidation or dust.
