RUBI 31969 is a professional manual tile cutter designed for scoring and snapping ceramic and porcelain tiles on site. The tool provides a guided carriage and a durable cutting wheel to produce precise straight cuts with consistent results. Intended for construction and renovation tasks, this manual tile cutter combines simple operation with robust build quality to meet demands of tilers working in varied environments.

Advantages

The RUBI 31969 delivers accurate straight cutting through a guided carriage system and a hardened cutting wheel that maintains performance over repeated use. Its manual operation requires no power source, which makes the tool suitable for use in locations without electricity and reduces setup complexity. The design emphasizes stable tile support and controlled scoring depth, helping to minimize chipping and produce clean edges when snapping tiles.

Suitable for

• Scoring and snapping ceramic wall and floor tiles
• Cutting porcelain tiles with straight cuts
• On-site renovation and construction work where portability is needed
• Tradespeople and professionals performing repetitive straight cuts

Key specifications

• Manual operation with guided carriage for straight-line scoring
• Durable cutting wheel designed for ceramic and porcelain materials
• Stable tile support surface to reduce vibration and chipping
• Compact, portable form factor for on-site use

How to use

Place the tile on the support surface and align the cutting wheel with the desired cutting line. Score the tile by applying steady pressure while pulling the carriage across the tile to create a consistent groove. After scoring, apply even downward pressure or use the built-in breaker mechanism to snap the tile along the scored line. Regularly inspect the cutting wheel for wear and replace it when cuts become less precise.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and gloves. For best results, ensure the tile is clean and flat on the support surface before scoring. Replace the cutting wheel when scoring requires increased force or when chip marks appear more frequently. Store the tool in a dry place to preserve mechanical components.
