Hama 00201117 telefonkabel 10 m sort

The Hama 00201117 telephone cable is a 10 metre black cable with an RJ-45 connector on one end and a TAE (F) connector on the other, designed to connect telephones, fax devices or analog adapters to wall sockets. The cable's length and connector combination provide flexibility for positioning devices in homes or offices while maintaining a clean, unobtrusive appearance thanks to its black jacket.

Advantages

This telephone cable offers a reliable physical connection between telephony equipment and wall sockets due to its solid construction and standardized connectors. The 10 m length reduces the need for intermediate extensions, and the black outer jacket resists visible soiling and integrates discreetly into most interiors. The RJ-45 to TAE (F) configuration supports straightforward plug-and-play installation with compatible devices.

How to use

Plug the RJ-45 connector into the device's RJ-45 telephone or adapter port and insert the TAE (F) connector into the wall socket. Ensure connectors are fully seated to establish a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and pinching; use cable clips or ties to secure and organize the cable where necessary. If devices do not recognize the line, check that the wall socket provides an active analogue telephone line and verify connector orientation.

Recommendations

For optimal long-term performance, avoid tight bending radii and exposure to heat or direct sunlight. When installing in office areas, route the telephone cable separately from high-voltage power cables to reduce potential interference. If a longer reach or different connector types are required, choose an appropriate adapter or a cable with the needed connector combination.
