Hama 00205087 lydkabel 5 m 2 x RCA sort

The Hama 00205087 5m audio cable provides two RCA male connectors on each end for unbalanced stereo signal transmission between audio components. Designed for a 5 metre reach and finished in black, this cable links devices such as CD players, amplifiers, AV receivers, TVs and active speakers while preserving the analogue audio signal path and allowing flexible placement of equipment within a room.

Advantages

This audio cable delivers a straightforward, durable connection with standard 2 x RCA terminations, suitable for common consumer and semi-professional setups. The 5 m length increases placement options without the need for additional adapters, and the black jacket offers a low-visibility appearance behind furniture or equipment. Compatibility with conventional RCA inputs and outputs ensures easy, tool-free installation.

How to use

Plug the left (usually white) and right (usually red) RCA plugs into the corresponding RCA outputs of the source device, and connect the other end to the RCA inputs of the destination device. Ensure connectors are fully seated to avoid intermittent contact. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and pinching; keep it clear of mains power cables where possible to reduce potential interference. For devices with mono RCA outputs, use only the required channel and leave the other connector unused.

Recommendations

For optimal audio quality, keep cable runs as short as practical and avoid coiling excess length tightly. When integrating into a fixed installation, secure the cable with cable ties or clips to prevent strain on connectors. If hum or interference is present, check grounding of connected equipment and separate the RCA cable from power cables and wireless transmitters.
