Hama 00205116 lydkabel 5 m 3,5 mm sort

The Hama 00205116 audio cable is a 5 m black cable with male 3.5 mm connectors on both ends, designed for transmitting analog stereo audio between portable devices and audio systems. Its length provides flexibility for connecting smartphones, tablets, laptops, MP3 players or any device with a 3.5 mm headphone output to speakers, car stereos, home amplifiers or headphones. The cable construction focuses on reliable contact and consistent signal transfer for everyday audio use.

Advantages

The cable combines a standard 3.5 mm stereo jack at each end with a durable outer jacket that resists wear from regular handling. The 5 m length enables convenient placement of audio sources and playback equipment without stretching or awkward positioning. The black finish integrates unobtrusively with most audio setups. Connectors are molded to provide secure insertion and reduce wobble during use.

Key specifications

How to use

Insert one 3.5 mm plug into the headphone or line-out socket of the source device and the other plug into the input of the receiving device. Ensure both devices are powered on and their volume levels set to a low or moderate level before playback to avoid sudden loud output. Adjust the source and destination volume controls to achieve the desired listening level. When disconnecting, pull the molded connector body rather than the cable to avoid strain on the internal conductors.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term operation, avoid sharp bends and repeated tight kinks near the connector ends, keep the cable away from heat sources and heavy foot traffic, and store coiled loosely to prevent deformation. If using with mobile devices, ensure the device's output level and any inline controls are compatible with the receiving equipment to prevent distortion.
